Meet Dr. Patel
in Georgetown, TX
A Journey Inspired by Family
Dr. Patel’s path to dentistry began long before she ever stepped into dental school. Although she was initially preparing for medical school in India, her direction changed after witnessing her grandparents suffer from dental problems and accompanying her mother through several root canal appointments. These personal experiences showed her the true impact of oral health and inspired her to pursue dentistry as her life’s work.
A Thoughtful, Education-Driven Approach to Dentistry
Dr. Patel’s philosophy is simple: great dentistry begins with understanding. Many patients assume that “if it doesn’t hurt, nothing is wrong,” or that back teeth aren’t important. Dr. Patel is passionate about patient education and uses advanced technology—including digital X-rays, intraoral photos, CBCT 3D imaging, AI-supported diagnostics, and intraoral scanning—to help patients visualize their oral health and understand how it affects their overall well-being.
Every patient receives:
- A comprehensive dental exam
- Digital diagnostics (X-rays, scans, photos)
- A phase-based treatment plan, always beginning with their chief concern
- Educational visuals, videos, and before-and-after photos to help them understand their options
Why She Built Berry Springs Dental
After studying the demographics of the Georgetown area, Dr. Patel saw a growing need for high-quality, modern, and compassionate dental care. She envisioned a space that felt welcoming, vibrant, and comfortable—more like visiting a friend’s home than a dental office.
Her mission is to build a community where patients come in as patients and leave as friends, knowing they are cared for with honesty, compassion, and excellence.
Dental Training in India
Dr. Patel earned her first dental degree in 2009 and began practicing as a dental surgeon. Early in her career, she had the opportunity to train under four senior dentists whose mentorship provided a solid foundation in all areas of general dentistry—root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions, dentures, and more.
After serving as an associate dentist and later working independently at a community hospital, she was preparing to open her first private practice when a new opportunity brought her to the United States.
